Lakes —

Eagle Ridge is nestled on a peninsula on Glenmore Reservoir – the only facility in Calgary for sailing, dragon boat racing, canoeing, kayaking, and rowing, with boating docks within the community. Since in the city’s primary source of drinking water, swimming and motorboats are not allowed here. Glenmore Reservoir is open to the public from early May to late October.

According to the 2016 Census of Canada, 315 people were living in private households in Eagle Ridge that year. There are a little over 100 private households in the community, and most of the families are couple families with or without children at home.

Almost 80% of the population’s mother tongue is English. Over 5% of the population’s mother tongue is French.

Immigrants make up about 15% of the population. All the residents are Canadian citizens. Owners occupy all the homes, and none of the dwellings are rented out.
