How will I get around the area?
Banff Trail is a walkable neighbourhood, but it is car-dependant and will require driving around to complete most errands. The community is close to the Banff Trail station – a CTrain Light rail station that gets residents to other parts of Calgary. There is reliable public transit and several ride-sharing and taxi companies serving the area. At least two bus lines pass through the community. The neighbourhood has some biking infrastructure.

The Trans-Canada Highway/AB-1 E and AB-2 N route places the airport about 18.3 km away. The shortest distance to the airport is via 14 Street NW, but it’s not always the fastest route because of traffic.
