Bridlewood Real Estate — family-friendly, walkable to gyms, parks and grocery stores, and close to shopping and recreational hubs.

Established in 1998, Bridlewood is among Calgary's younger communities. Family-friendly, walkable to gyms, parks and grocery stores, and close to shopping and recreational hubs, Bridlewood has caught the attention of young families.

It is served by CTrain light rail, with a future expansion in the works. The neighbourhood features new homes that are less than 25 years old.

The development of this real estate was designed to allow the homes to have plenty of open space for use as potential schools, community activity areas and grassy parks. Bicycle pathways also interlace the community. The land on the east side houses the Bridlewood Creek Wetland, a small sanctuary for many types of birds and a wealth of flora and fauna. Shawnessy center is located minutes away and provides shopping district for residents and homeowners. A future C-Train extension is also proposed for the community. Nearby Spruce Meadows often holds special events such as Canada Day celebrations. Baseball and a waterpark can be found in Somerset, and a drive or long cycle to Bragg Creek is also available via the 22X.

As of 2006, 16.8% of Bridlewood’s real estate was made up of apartments and condominiums, with 4.6% of homes being used for rental purposes. Bridlewood offers bungalow’s and two storey single family detached homes.
