Diamond Cove is bordered by Anderson Road and Deerfoot Trail on the north, Bow River on the east, Bow Bottom Trail on the west, and the community of Queensland on the south. The community has easy access to the mountains and downtown Calgary.

The community is conveniently situated in a beautiful part of Calgary, with several excellent schools in and around the neighbourhood. Lakes

Although Diamond Cove does not have a lake, Fish Creek Provincial Park, about a 10-minute drive away, has an artificial lake. Here, residents can enjoy activities like fishing, swimming, and boating.

Golf

Eaglequest Golf Driving Range is on the opposite of Bow River. It’s a 25-minute walk to the golf park from the center of the community, along the Bow River and across Sue Higgins Pedestrian Bridge

Maple Ridge Golf Course in the Maple Ridge community is less than 5 km away (about a 7-minute drive). It is a mature golf course just off Deerfoot Trail – a fantastic course for players to hone their golf skills.

Parks

The most important park in the area is Fish Creek Provincial Park, which is open to the public. It is a sprawling natural forest retreat teeming with wildlife. The park has over 80 km of hiking and walking trails, picnic spots, birding, biking, rollerblading, and more. Plus, the artificial lake in the park is fantastic for swimming, boating, and fishing during the summer.

Developer/builder/history

Diamond Cove became a part of the City of Calgary in 1961. However, it wasn’t until 1989 that real estate development began in the area after around 15 years of the construction of Queensland. The idea was to build a separate estate community. The community was formally recognized in 1991.
