Montgomery is a residential neighbourhood in North West Calgary, bisecting the Tran-Canada Highway. Established in 1911, Montgomery was an autonomous village until being amalgamated by the City of Calgary in 1963, along with Bowness. Situated in a bow shaped portion of the Bow River, Montgomery is a community with a small town atmosphere, with fresh air and green vegetation.

Montgomery has a small but vibrant shopping community with just over 115 local businesses, including spa, salon and pet care services, thrift stores, florists and automotive repair shops. The neighbourhood also has easily accessible grocery stores and convenience shops such as Safeway, Mary's Corner Store, Save on Foods and Sexsmith Grocery. In addition, Montgomery's Farmers Market connects residents to local food producers and opens every Saturday from May through October. Just North of Montgomery, residents have access to Market Mall, one of the biggest malls in the city of Calgary.
