Overview of the Skyrattler Real Estate Subdivision
Skyrattler is one of the smaller SouthWest communities in the city and is made up of mostly higher-density housing such as townhouses and lowrise condominiums. Smack-dab in the middle of the community you will find a school site with a park, and to the SouthWest there is the Blackmud Creek Ravine, providing residents with open outdoor space. The community also has a small commercial center, and more amenities are accessible by the relatively nearby Anthony Henday Road and Whitemud Drive. The neighbourhood is named after Chief Skyrattler of the Winterburn Band, in keeping with the tradition of naming communities in the Kaskitayo area after First Nations Chiefs
