Confederation Park Golf Course is a public golf course offering an advanced nine-hole course, a putting green, and a two-level hitting bay.     Most crime here is petty and related to vandalism. Residents have peace of mind that the nearest police facility is only 2 km away, on 14th Street SW. The nearest fire station is even closer, on 16th Avenue NW.

  2. How will I get around the area?

    Banff Trail is a walkable neighbourhood, but it is car-dependant and will require driving around to complete most errands. The community is close to the Banff Trail station – a CTrain Light rail station that gets residents to other parts of Calgary. There is reliable public transit and several ride-sharing and taxi companies serving the area. At least two bus lines pass through the community. The neighbourhood has some biking infrastructure.

  3. Is there a pool nearby?

    The Foothills Aquatic Centre on Union Hills Drive is a multi-purpose recreation facility offering many programs and facilities. The centre has an indoor six-lane 25-meter pool, a dive tank, and a safe kiddie wading pool. The centre also provides drop-in swim and fitness classes and swimming lessons.

  4. Will the kids have access to extracurricular activities?

    Yes. Banff Trail is a child-friendly neighbourhood that provides children ample opportunities to take some time away from their studies and learn something new.   5. How long will it take to get to the airport?

    Calgary international airport is less than a 20-minute from Banff Trail, and the AB-2 N route is a little less than 17 km away. The Trans-Canada Highway/AB-1 E and AB-2 N route places the airport about 18.3 km away. The shortest distance to the airport is via 14 Street NW, but it’s not always the fastest route because of traffic.
