Demographics

Dalhousie, named after George Ramsay, the 9th Earl of Dalhousie, was founded in 1967.

Dalhousie had a census of 9,085 people living in 3,739 homes in the 2012 municipal census, up 1.9% from its 2011 demographic of 8,917.

In 2000, residents in this neighbourhood had a median family income of $59,298 and 17.1% of families were considered to be low-income. Immigrants made up 24.1% of the population in 2000.
