Duggan is a community surrounded by other communities in SouthWest Edmonton. Duggan is laid out so that a small commercial area, the local school and parks are in the centre of the community, and residences are built out around them. On the east side of the community you will also find a larger commercial area with bigger stores such as a Walmart Supercentre. Duggan is named after J.J. Duggan, a former mayor of the city of Strathcona.
