Established in 1959, it officially became a part of the city of Calgary in 1961. Forest Heights is one of the city’s most multicultural communities. Forest Heights is bounded by Memorial Drive, to East by 52 Street, on the South by 8th Avenue, and on the West by 36 Street. The community has direct access to downtown through 17th Avenue and Memorial Drive.

Massive elm trees line the streets of Forest Heights. The branches reach out, forming a lovely canopy, making the roads feel cut off from the rest of the city. This is a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood – the ideal place for children to grow up in and young adults to make their lives.
