Overview of the Griesbach Real Estate Subdivision
The residential community of Griesbach was once one of Edmonton's military bases, and was home to members of the Canadian Forces and their families. In the early 2000's the area was redesigned to function as a civilian neighbourhood, as the base was no longer needed. The remodelling of the neighbourhood added a central park, a local pathway system, a large water feature, and commercial space. Residents of the area have easy access to several major roadways, which makes commuting between communities or across the city as simple as possible.
