Parkdale Homes Toronto

It was late in the 1800s that Parkdale's history began as the most desirable elite residential suburb , and it was amalgamated into the city of Toronto in 1889. Located along the shores of Lake Ontario and between the neighbourhoods of Little Portugal, Liberty Village and Roncesvalles, Parkdale is a desirable location within the city. Parkdale is featured as a lakeside village with access to Lake Ontario. The area changed dramatically in 1955 when the southern section was demolished, and a barrier was created between the neighbourhood and the lakeshore.
