Canyon Meadows is a quiet and peaceful residential neighbourhood situated on a rolling plane in southwest Calgary, just above the bluffs at Fish Creek Park and just 10 km from Downtown Calgary. Most of the real estate in Canyon Meadows was built between 1960 and 1980. The houses are primarily single detached homes with three or four bedrooms. Lakes —

Fish Creek Provincial Park, set in the community’s backyard, is home to an artificial lake open to the public. You can use the lake for fishing, swimming, and boating with access to the Bow River. Or, you just might decide to picnic on a grassy patch near the lake with your family.

Developer/builder/history

Development took place throughout the 1960s, and estates were developed along with multiple cul-de-sacs. Canyon Meadows was annexed to the City of Calgary in 1961.
