Overview of the Garneau Real Estate Subdivision
Garneau is a century-old neighbourhood. Typically saying that something is one hundred years old would be like saying that it looks very aged and worn, however that is not the case here. While the area itself is very old, not very many of the buildings share that age. As is common with the majority of elderly subdivisions in the city, there has been a lot of redevelopment in the area with passing time. This includes the addition of higher-density housing, as well as the introduction of more shops and services. The community has direct access to Whyte Avenue and UofA, as well as simple access to the LRT and the city's core.
