Overview of the Strathcona Real Estate Subdivision
Strathcona used to be a city of it’s own, and began developing in 1891. As would be expected in a community that has been around for over one hundred years, there are some truly unique old homes to be found in the community, but there are also a number of newer condominiums, which dominate the housing market in the area. There are also a number of brand new luxury homes. Residents of the neighbourhood have easy access to Whyte Avenue, which gives off an old-town main street feel and offers amenities and entertainment. There is also easy access to the River Valley and Mill Creek Ravine, both of which offer opportunities for outdoor recreation.
