According to a 2016 Census of Canada snapshot, 6,195 people lived in a little less than 3,000 dwellings in Glamorgan that year. That makes the average household size 2.2. Most families with children have their children living with them. While the largest population is adults between 15 and 64 years, there is a considerably large (15%) population of 0 to 14-year-olds and 65 to 84-year-olds. A little over 60% of the dwellings are occupied by their owners, while the rest are rented out.
