The Calgary real estate district of Kingsland is a primarily single-family residential property community. As per the community profile of Kingsland from the 2016 Census of Canada, 4,770 people lived in 2,245 private households in the neighbourhood that year. About 75% of the people were between 15 and 64 years old, and 14% were between 0 and 14 years old. Seniors made up the rest of the population.

The land on which the neighbourhood of Kingsland stands today was annexed to the city of Calgary in 1956. The following year, the development of the real estate housing market began. What is public transport like here? How do I get around the neighbourhood?
Kingsland lies between Chinook LRT Station and Heritage LRT Station. So, if you rely on public transport for your commute, you are in luck. The neighbourhood itself is Calgary’s 29th most walkable neighbourhood. You can accomplish some errands on foot, but will otherwise need a car. At least two bus lines pass through the community. For those who prefer to bike, Kingsland is very bikeable, and biking is convenient for most trips.

Which is the closest hospital?
Residents of Kingsland are fortunate to be a stone’s throw away from one of Calgary’s finest hospitals. Rockyview General Hospital is less than 2 kilometers from the neighbourhood.
