    Acadia is an urban residential neighbourhood, which means there is a slightly higher rate of crime here. However, street robberies are almost non-existent. There have been a few sporadic residential breaks and entries like it is in virtually every neighbourhood, but the residents believe that they are overall safe here. Vehicle thefts, physical disturbance, assaults, and commercial robberies are rare and far between.

    Rockyview General Hospital is the closest hospital to Acadia. It will take you about eight minutes to reach the hospital by car. The fastest route is via Heritage Drive, but you can also take the Macleod Trail SE route or the AB-8 W.
