Demographics
In the 1960s, the Sundance real estate market in this portion of the modern-day city was annexed. However, the community was developed after it was established in 1982.
Sundance had a population of 10,499 people living in 3,406 homes in the 2012 municipal census, down 1.2 percent from its 2011 population of 10,623. In 2012, it had a population density of 2,600/km2 (6,800/sq. mi) on a land area of 4 km2 (1.5 sq. mi).
