Glendale Real Estate — a small yet lovely neighbourhood in Calgary's southwest quadrant.
Glendale is a residential community in Calgary's southwest quadrant. The transition from Glenbrook, Killarney, and Rosscarrock 's identical block and grid streets to long winding roads marks the entrance of Glendale.
The street grid that runs through Glendale's residential area is a common feature of suburban communities built in the late 1950s. The Rockies can also be seen from most Glendale houses.
It's situated to the south of 17th Avenue SW, east of Signal Hill and Sarcee Trail, and west of 37 Street SW and Killarney. This neighbourhood is home to the Optimist Athletic Park, which offers a variety of recreational opportunities for the entire district.
Glendale is a lovely neighbourhood, a hidden gem of middle-class residences. As a result, there are many trees, large green yards, a good degree of biodiversity, and curved roads—the first community in Calgary to introduce them.
Glendale is becoming more popular among inner-city purchasers, and it offers a lot of possibilities for redevelopment and refurbishment projects. It is also close to a variety of facilities and services.
Glendale is surrounded by major corridors that allow access to multiple strip malls as well as to other main highways with even more shops. It is served by Westbrook Mall to the north and Signal Hill Shopping Centre to the south. Many different areas within the neighbourhood have views of the Rockies to the west, which adds to the value of many of the properties.
