Golf —

Rosscarrock shares its northeastern border with the Shaganappi Point Golf Course, making it very easily accessible to golf lovers. This is a city-run public course featuring nine and 18-hole intermediate courses. As well as fantastic golfing opportunities, the golf course boasts gorgeous views of downtown Calgary and overlooks the south bank of the Bow River.

Wildflower Arts Centre and Park on Spruce Drive SW is a fantastic place to discover your artistic talents. Douglas Fir Trail (East entrance) is just a four-minute drive (approximately two kilometres) from the community. This is a beautiful natural hiking area with paved walking and bike trails and a trail in the woods. The courses offer stunning city views, making you feel like you were in the mountains.

Edworthy Park comprises natural parklands offering tails, fire & BBQ pits, off-leash areas for the dogs, and playgrounds for children. This is a fantastic park for the entire family to walk, run, play, and even work. The park is exceptionally well-kept and has a variety of amenities like washrooms and picnic tables.

Quarry Road Trail is another hiking trail with a river and a fantastic view of the city. The Quarry Trail and Bow River Pathway Loop is 9.6 miles long. Once you enter the park, the city disappears from view.
