Kingsview Village Real Estate Overview

Surrounding communities might be of interest as well:

Kingsview Village first came into existence as a community in the 1850s. It was when the first settler, Thomas Madill, set up his home here. He owned farmland to the north of Dixon Road, extending from Islington Avenue to Kipling Avenue. The fieldstone farmhouse he built was still standing on Islington Avenue until 1973, the last structure from the pre-subdivision.

What you see today as Kingsview Village is the area that developed primarily during the 1950s and the early 1960s. A large immigrant population is a distinctive feature of the community, and it lends Kingsview Village a unique persona. Located near the airport, well-connected to the rest of the city, and with efficient connectivity, to the rest of the city, this community is a prime spot for new homeowners today.

Who Lives In Kingsview Village Homes

The multicultural community is one of the most distinctive aspects of Kingsview Village. The first settlers in the area were those from the British Isles. However, later on, a large number of Somalis arrived in this location and settled down here. There are also people from other cultures, including Asians, South Asians and Italians. On the whole, the community is a diverse one.

Kingsview Village Homes Are Not So Perfect For

The neighbourhood is a mature one with a mix of age groups. So, if you are looking for a hip, trendy location, Kingsview Village may disappoint. The neighbourhood may not be ideal for those who seek a calm, peaceful place that is far from the rush of the city's hotspots owing to this community's nearness to the airport.
